Christmas

Is close, and I'm not very excited. Haven't been in years. Is this something that comes with age? If so, I don't enjoy it very much. I remember being super excited for Christmas starting right around Thanksgiving. That was the only reason I enjoyed Turkey Day, for it's announcement of 'that time of year' .
The lights, the weather, Santa Claus, gifties, I guess I'm in that in-between stage, I'm not getting the amount of gifts I used to get when I was young, and I don't have a child of my own to shower with gifties, so the holiday has little value to me. I have a small family, (two people >.< ) so I don't get to see any missed relatives or have huge family feasts like everyone else, but is that necessarily a bad thing? I think I enjoy the peacefulness I have during the holidays. I really do hate chaos and drama.
So I guess here's to a quiet relaxed Christmastime! Wow in the span of a single blog post I made myself enjoy the little aspects of Christmas I have.

Christmas

Remember when I said I love Christmas? I fucking lied. I have no clue what to get for ANYONE!!!
I really need to pay more attention throughout the year. Why do I still celebrate Christmas? I denounced Christianity years ago. Though I do suppose that it is almost entirely a pagan holiday. Shit, Christ wasn't even born in December! Lies annoy me more then anything... ANYways... Gifts gifts gifts. I pretty much have everyone covered except for this girl named Jeni Lynn Wright. I have absolutely no clue what to get for her, and she refuses to give me a hint.I was going to get her an iPod, but nooooo, her parents have that covered. WTF! Of course that wouldn't work, way too easy.
Just pulled an all nighter, feeling kind of shitty, but it is nowhere near as bad as my 4 days without sleep. That was hell.
This blog is feeling more and more pointless without any followers...
I'm not even looking forward to Xmas, I AM totally psyched for New Years though!
Can't think of anything else to type, byee.

Dread

Work in less then an hour, I am not looking to this nine and a half hour shift. but at least I get some moolah!
My girlfriend is supposed to visit me, I'm pretty sure that will be the highlight of my day. Glassjaw is a weird band. I'm going to have an hour long break, what the hell am I supposed to do with all that time? I'm thinking of doing a web comic of sorts, but it will be tough thinking of a story. Maybe just the funny crap that happens to me on a day to day basis?
Meh.

Blog before bed?

So matter how late I've been falling asleep I've been waking up around 7:30 every morning, without even trying. Weird. So today seemed to go by soooo slowly. I sometimes wish I had a day job.



 I woke up this morning desperately wanting to watch Dexter, but had to wait on my friend all day. But I ended up finishing season one tonight, and I am certainly impressed. ?



; I'm getting tired of fixing computers for free, I can't wait 'till it's my career. But I did get to tinker with my space heater. The stupid thermostat kept shutting the heater off before it could even put a dent in the cold of my room. So like any good techie, I took it apart and removed the thermostat! Mmmmhm toasty.



After seeing my girlfriend three days in a row going a whole day without seeing her feels... bad. I hope to see her soon.
Boy, I'm just a rambling tonight... but it's my blog so you can stfu =P

I love the holidays, the air just feels so cheerful. I Haven't looked forward to presents on Christmas morning in years, I don't like Christmas food, and I really don't have any family that visits. I barely celebrate Christmas but it still remains my favorite holiday of the year. I just enjoy the general Happiness that sort of fills the air.


I haven't mentioned yet, but I am employed at Spencer's Gifts, and is the best job ever. I actually enjoy going to work. As of now I'm only seasonal but I hope they decide to keep me. If they do then I can finally start gauging my ears! I haven't done it yet for fear of unemployment, but staring at the jewelry case full of gauges makes me want them sososo badly. Should I go to 3/4 or 7/8?


 I've been thinking of re-doing my room, and I really like this bed frame. I'm thinking I could make it myself...

Short one today
Why haven't I picked up this show sooner? It's really good, the first show I've liked since season one of Heroes....
I really encourage you to watch this show, if a little blood doesn't bother you. Guy is like Batman without the tights and millions of dollars. Plus, he always kills the bad guys.

WikiLeaks

This whole thing is really simple if you think about it in a rational way. The government calls him a terrorist, but all he is doing is speaking the truth. Speaking. Speak. Speech. Which we, as Americans, have freedom of. Regardless if he is recounting tales or child rape or reporting on a Twinkie festal, no matter if the subject is illegal or not, he has the freedom to speak it. I've seen the insult 'commie' thrown at those who support WikiLeaks, but in truth, to prohibit him from saying what he is, is very.... Communistic, IMHO. Paypal blocking his site is not right and if you think it makes you a 'red-blooded American' to fight against WikiLeaks, stop and use your head for a second.

America. Land of the free.
That used to mean something, but little by little we have our rights stripped away, out of fear.
They listen to our phone calls, are attempting to censor our internet, prohibit us from speaking, what's next? Regulated family sizing? Will we have a curfew? There's the whole mess with the TSA and the body scanners, when will it end? End the ignorance, be truly American, and remember why this country was founded.
Freedom.

Finally Quit Procrastinating

 Yep, I did it. I made a blog. Let's see if I can get any followers with my pointless musings. 

I always have random thoughts and say to myself, 'I should have a blog for my random thoughts like this....'

 So here it is! Whoever you are, I hope you enjoy this, I hope you learn something, and I hope you laugh. I know that I'm asking a lot of you, but bare with me for a second, wait, it that even the right form of bare? Is it bear? Whatever, I don't care. Anyways, most of my posts will be me typing as I think, so I expect them to be rather random. Should I tell you about myself here, or is there an 'about me' section like Myspace and facebook and such? I'll check, and if there isn't I'll just make another post describing myself, because I know all of you are just dying to know!!
